JOHN MYERS (OWNER) has more than 30 years experience in the industrial development field as the former manager of the Columbia Gas System’s Industrial Development Department and his current work as a Real Estate Broker and consultant. His specific professional skills lie in plant location analysis, acquisition negotiations, and energy applications. He has a Civil Engineering degree from Michigan Technological University; is a past chairman of Ohio’s Economic Development Council; and has ownership positions in Ohio Industrial Realty Co. Inc., Market Reach Strategies, LLC., Economic Development Associates Co., and some Shale Development Corporation properties.
BLAIR BICKEL is a graduate of The Ohio State University and utilizes his 25 years experience in the Material Handling Industry to compliment his real estate endeavors. He is the president and owner of Ohio Industrial Equipment, Ltd., a company that offers sound solutions to warehouse storage and distribution equipment requirements. It is his company’s turnkey approach that guides a client through building selection, layout/design, equipment acquisition, installation and implementation.
TOM BROWN is a former owner of Brown Steel Company, a steel service center that continues to do a large volume of regional business. He is a graduate of Princeton University with a degree in economics and has completed the Harvard Management Company programs. Tom’s real estate concentration is on manufacturing and business brokerage and he is nationally recognized for his expertise in steel service center applications.
STEVE HALE has enjoyed a successful real estate and development career since his graduation from Wichita State University. He is the president and owner of Shale Development Corporation, an industrial park developer, whose products include investment properties, build-to-suit facilities, as well as speculative buildings. He specializes in industrial properties and is president of Shale Leasing Co., a lessor of industrial waste compacting and removal equipment.
ROBIN MITCHELL is a seasoned marketing professional who has over 30 years of experience in the retail industry, including over 20 years with the Limited Brand Stores where she was a multi award winning leader of a variety of operations. She is a graduate of Western Michigan University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She has a proven track record in a number of disciplines including sales and profit planning, inventory management, domestic and international production, market analysis, and overall strategic business leadership. Robin's seasoned marketing and business development skill sets combined with her past experience brings a unique perspective to the Ohio Industrial Companies.
ROB MYERS is a graduate of Hope College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Communication. He has excelled in sales and promotions and has excellent marketing experience in a variety of disciplines. His foremost marketing strengths lie in the specific fields of industrial material handling, energyapplications, and the e-commerce and software industries. Rob’s focus is on real estate through strategic marketing plans and the application of innovative business to business technologies.
CHARLES WASHBUSH specializes in industrial clients and is the president and owner of Corporate Finance Associates, a company geared for finalizing business mergers and acquisitions. He has numerous buyers and sellers of businesses throughout the United States as well as internationally. He has an MBA from St Mary’s University, is a business turn-around expert, and sits on several local business boards.
KEN WEARS has been in the industrial real estate brokerage and development business for over 40 years. He has a business degree from Franklin University and has been the long time owner of a very successful real estate company originally founded by his father. Ken is a retired member of the Institute of Real Estate Management with a CPM designation and is a current member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors with an SIOR designation. He is a past president of both the local and state SIOR organizations and is also a past RVP for the SIOR. Ken provides Ohio Industrial Realty with a wealth of industrial experience and excellent leadership in the business and organizational arenas.
